Cluring of the gamelan sléndro K.K. Madukentir.

An archaic metallophone with several small bronze bowl-shaped bells arranged in a series from large to small. Cluring in sléndro gamelans have six bells while those in pélog gamelans have seven. The apex of each bell is nailed to a saron-like wooden case so that its rim is facing upwards. The bells are struck with two small metal rods. Found in very few gamelans in place of a saron peking.

Cluring of the gamelan pélog K.K. Kancilbelik in performance.
